I’ve finally gotten around to redesigning my website. My aim was to create a website that I can work on and manipulate as I go along rather than have something that is set in stone. As a web designer I think my site should be in a constant redesign, but maybe not in this way.

Although I mainly work in wordpress, I chose to integrate this blog into tumblr because of 2 things:

I found tumblr very motivating in the past because of the community and ease of use
I like the social integration

I know the site is pretty bare but this is only the first step, there is still a lot of stuff that I’ve got in my mind that may or not make it out into reality.

edit: what do you use to update your tumblr on your iPad?

I came across a document of goals I set for last year recently. It was kind of interesting how I managed to complete a majority of them without even remembering I had a list.

With the success of last years list I decided to write another for this year:

Continue to treat my girlfriend well
Manage my finance and save
Focus on excelling at my new job
Sketch more often
Continue trying new and different activities with my girlfriend
Compete in another skimboarding competition
Plan to visit friends abroad
Research and practice new social media business strategies
Learn to stand up paddleboard
Be more proactive in my actions and in conversation

I’ve just finished reading Dracula recently (which was pretty good) and was intrigued by the mention of Scholomance.

Originally I was thinking of making a script about based around Scholomance but then I ended up starting a scene, maybe I’ll be inspired by the result of the scene to write a script on in.

This was my quick sketch of composition before I started the model the other day. Now I just have to come up with a nervous, ambitious and slightly manic character to fit the scene.

I just finished participating in the Oxfam charity walk, one of the hardest things I’ve done in my life.

My team completed the 100km trek in 37hours 14mins, so glad it’s over now :)
